Business Development manager
2 Roles London and Manchester reporting Directly to National sales manager.
- Service existing and potential high-value accounts by providing timely, professional and accurate quotations and documentation in response to client needs
- Work closely with Operations management in order to maximise opportunities to grow business revenue from the existing client base Managing sale from ATM point of sale right through to installation take ownership of the site.
- Be self-motivated and take pride in customer satisfaction.
- Be organised and visit all clients regular.
- Make sure all clients requests are dealt with in a timely manner and are informed of any updates.
- Be able to read and understand complex commercial agreements.
- Follow up on all Telesales appointments.
- If a location is not working in a location what can we do to fix it be a problem solver.
- Liaise with Operations management to identify new vendors and opportunities to achieve cost savings with existing vendors in order to improve competitive pricing and overall profitability
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers via telephone and face to face meeting.
- Support the wider Sales and Operations teams in all aspects of development of pricing, tariffs, statistics and analytics for existing and potential clients
- Contact and close new business opportunities and leads
- Maintain good working relationship with all existing clients.
- Identify new sales opportunities new store opening change of ownerships etc
- Keep yourself up to date with market changes, competitor activity.
- Monitor prospective high-value tender opportunities, with responsibility for the completion of top-class tenders and supporting documentation
- Maintain good relationships with symbol Groups and advise them on solutions for new and existing stores e.g. would it benefit the Group to have on screen advertising with their offers.
- Be able to decide on a good location and to reject if not commercially viable has its enough footfall how many ATMS are nearby.
- Liaise with all internal departments to ensure that tender documentation aligns with legislative requirements, business capabilities and the management systems in place; highlighting any cost or other liability risks
What you'll bring to the role;
- Minimum of 3 years' demonstrable experience in a similar role at this level
- Development of business sales strategy
- Successful delivery of sales targets
- Previous experience in completing public/private tender processes and input to complex contract negotiations
- Knowledge of price sensitive markets
- Experience in B2B or payments market preferred but not essential.
- Experience with dealing with Senior personnel at Director level
- Good computer skills proficient in Microsoft word and excel.
- Previous experience of using a CRM system completing weekly and monthly trackers.
- Salary 70k OTE with company car or allowance mileage and expenses.
